Details & Story Of This Carpet

Review By: Reza Derakhshesh (Persian Carpet Expert)

This Beautiful Jozan Persian rug, also known as Jozan Malayer, is woven by the villagers living in a village called Jozan in Lorestan province over 30 years ago. The rural weavers have knotted this pretty carpet on a traditional Persian carpet loom by hand. The main color of this rug is Indigo. The Indigo color used in this carpet is a very dark shade of blue color that is extracted from natural elements like the flowers of the Indigo plant. Also, all other colors in this elegant rug are natural and don’t cause any allergic reactions. moreover, the motifs and colors never change or fade out during years.
We know Jozan hand-knotted rugs for their unique colors, fine designs and durability. The pattern is consist of flower motifs and geometric shapes. This rug is an authentic Jozan rug with elegant woolen knots and a beautiful pattern. Its warp and woof are from cotton, which makes it a durable and strong carpet.
