    The Moud is a village name located in the south of Birjand and Mashhad in the east of Persia with a long history of well-respected rug weaving tradition. You can find there the most beautiful and detailed handmade Persian carpets.

    This Moud carpet is 20 years old and has a beautiful Kheshti design consist of squares with different background colors and motifs inside which represent traditional Persian gardens. This is an exquisite and delicate carpet with more than 320000 knots per square meter, which is woven in dimensions of 303 cm length and 196 cm width. Besides, the warp and weft of this beautiful carpet are strong and durable made of cotton, while a combination of wool and silk is used in the pile.
