This small Koliai rug has knotted by the hands of semi nomadic Kurdish weavers approx 30 years ago. Koliai rugs are also known as Kolyai or Songhur rugs. They use two wefts between the rows of knots in these carpets. Also, Kurdish carpets are very strong and durable. They are also famous for their high quality, long pile and saturated color scale.

The main background colors of this rug are dark red (laki) and blue (Indigo). The pattern is consists of motifs in geometric shapes, flowers, and birds. The colors used in the rug are natural and anti-allergy. Its density is 160.000 knots/square meters and the warp and woof are made of cotton. The size of this small koiai rug is 145×106 cm.
