Koliai carpets are one of the most famous Kurdish handmade carpets. Koliai (Kolyaei) is a small village in the Kermanshah province of Iran. Koliai carpet has a history of 400 years and has 32 special designs and designs. It is registered worldwide through the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). Koliai rugs are woven often without pre-designed patterns and are based on the weaver’s imagination and the nature and culture of his or her environment.

One of the unique features of this handmade carpet is the use of camel wool in it, which is rare among handmade carpets.
